Experience Mecktoberfest, Charlotte’s original Oktoberfest festival! Enjoy traditional German fare alongside live music performances in our spacious Biergarten. Make it a night to remember with a 1-liter DAS BOOT and stein holding contests. Join us for two fun-filled weekends: September 15 – 17, 2023, and September 22 – 24, 2023.

ACTIVITIES
Besides Stein Holding, you adults can play Hammerschlagen (a game in which participants compete against each other to drive nails into a stump) or compete in our German Spelling Bee (Friday night only)! The spelling bee will take place in between the Holzhackern Tyrolean Band’s break on Fridays only. We will also have cornhole. Kids can play in the Family Zone playscape.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Our address is 4150 Yancey Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Due to high volume, parking is limited. Please consider taking an Uber or Lyft. You may also utilize the Lynx light rail system. Scaleybark station is only an 11-minute walk from OMB. You may park in the OMB parking lot, the parking lot next door (formerly known as The Mill @ OMB, 4210 Yancey Rd), or along Yancey Road Please keep in mind paid parking signs and tow-away zones. You can also park at 4433 S Tryon Street in the old Bank of America.
