250th Anniversary Mecklenburg Declaration Celebration & Scavenger Hunt

Celebrate 250 years of freedom with OMB!
We are so excited for the 250th Anniversary of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. We’ve created a scavenger hunt for guests to learn some Charlotte history while competing for a grand prize! We hear there’s complimentary beer involved too (21+)!
Clues will be released on the morning of Saturday May 17th via social media and on our website!
SCAVENGER HUNT RULES:
Find OMB tin signs hidden at 5 historical sites around the Queen City!
Use the clues to locate each sign and snap a photo with your group at each spot.
HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Your group does not have to start at OMB. You may start wherever is convenient for your group!
2. Hunt starts at 11 AM. You must return by 3 PM to qualify for the grand prize
3. Locations can be found in any order
4. Once you've taken all 5 photos, return to the LoSo taproom for a complimentary beer (21+) and live music from 1–4 PM
5. Be on the lookout for re-enactors
6. All ages are welcome!
